Deleveled removes the genre’s most basic comfort—the jump button—and replaces it with a clever system where sliding blocks can transfer their movement to one another. The result feels playful at first, then surprisingly demanding as every drop becomes a commitment. Its clean, colorful presentation keeps the mood approachable even while the puzzles grow deviously precise.

Players guide simple block-like characters through enclosed stages, using slopes, springs, moving surfaces, and collisions to build enough speed to reach distant platforms. Momentum can be passed from one block to another, so a seemingly useless fall may become the setup needed to launch a partner across the room. Each level asks you to activate matching pairs among several switches, but identifying the correct pair is only half the problem; you also need to work out the order of movements without accidentally sending a block into an unrecoverable lower area. There is no combat and no random filler, just self-contained physics puzzles that reward observation, experimentation, and the willingness to restart quickly after a bad bounce.

More than 120 stages across ten themed worlds steadily introduce new twists, making the rules feel broader without abandoning the central idea of controlled falling. Optional challenges, bonus stages, and hidden secrets give completionists reasons to revisit worlds after reaching the exit, while the concise level design suits short sessions as well as long puzzle-solving marathons. Deleveled stands apart from conventional platformers in much the same way as Baba Is You or The Swapper does: it takes a familiar genre language and turns one missing ability into the entire source of its challenge. It is an excellent pick for puzzle veterans who enjoy planning several moves ahead, though patient newcomers can also learn its logic through its gradual mechanical escalation.
