You begin with a single city, a small army, and the constant pressure to claim land before rival nations—or the environment itself—turn expansion into a disaster. Its mood is elegant but uneasy: beautiful painted landscapes conceal hostile creatures, old wars, and mysteries that make conquest feel like only one possible answer.

Turns revolve around scouting a hex-based world, founding and developing cities, researching technologies, negotiating with rivals, and deciding how to spend limited resources.
