GINSHA sends players across six interconnected planets as Gin and Gon, two alien lifeforms trying to understand the catastrophe threatening their species. Its mood blends lonely 1980s science-fiction imagery with colorful but hostile worlds packed with strange creatures, ruined technology, and hidden routes. Beneath the retro presentation lies a surprisingly broad Metroidvania structure with RPG systems, moral choices, crafting, and survival-minded resource management.

Traversal is the main attraction: agile platforming, dashing, underwater travel, aerial combat, and space exploration continually change how environments are approached.
