Aya searches the sprawling Drevis estate room by room, collecting keys, tools, documents, and other items needed to overcome environmental puzzles. Most dangers cannot simply be defeated, so progress relies on reading clues, noticing suspicious objects, managing escape routes, and reacting quickly when monsters or deadly traps close in. Chases add bursts of panic to the methodical puzzle-solving, while occasional allies—including the maid Maria—complicate the question of whom Aya can trust. Saving often requires finding special gems, which gives exploration a mild risk-reward edge, and player decisions can steer the story toward different conclusions.

What stands out is how effectively the game uses a small, interconnected house to build dread; familiar rooms transform as the night worsens, making the manor feel alive and hostile. The visuals are simple but expressive, using disturbing character portraits, animated deaths, and unsettling sound design to sell horrors that would lose impact in a more polished presentation. Multiple endings, hidden scenes, and optional discoveries reward players who examine every corner rather than rushing to the exit.
