MAHOUTEQ! turns that goofy premise into a compact visual novel with an intentionally rough, handmade personality, leaning into jokes about low budgets, amateur development, and magical-girl clichés rather than aiming for polished anime drama. Its MS Paint-style artwork gives every scene a deliberately scrappy look, while the writing keeps the mood playful, absurd, and self-aware.
