Game Overview

A ruined America becomes a high-speed battleground where biker gangs, cartel enforcers, and bounty hunters settle scores with steel pipes and shotgun blasts. Road Redemption channels the reckless spirit of Road Rash through a grimy post-apocalyptic campaign built around a massive bounty on a mysterious assassin. The result is less about clean racing lines than surviving traffic, rival riders, and armed ambushes at extreme speed. Its tone is gleefully violent and arcadey, with the kind of exaggerated road carnage that sits somewhere between Mad Max and Twisted Metal.

Each run sends you through a chain of procedurally arranged events that include races, pursuit missions, robberies, assassinations, and all-out brawls on the highway. You steer through traffic while attacking from the saddle, using melee weapons, firearms, kicks, grabs, counters, and well-timed critical strikes to knock opponents off their bikes. Crashing or dying ends a run, but earned experience and cash feed a persistent progression system, letting you improve rider abilities, unlock skills, strengthen weapons, and tune your motorcycle for later attempts. That roguelite structure keeps failure manageable, although enemy aggression and sudden collisions can make individual races brutally unpredictable.

Combat is the real attraction: positioning beside a rival matters as much as raw speed, and a successful hit can send a rider spinning beneath oncoming vehicles. A large skill tree and varied arsenal give builds distinct flavors, whether you favor durable bikes, close-range brutality, firearms, or mobility-focused upgrades. Local and online multiplayer add another layer, allowing friends to cooperate through the campaign or turn competitive events into chaotic road-rage sessions; the included DLC content further broadens the available challenges and gear. Fans of Road Rash, Burnout’s destructive energy, and arcade vehicle combat should feel immediately at home, while newcomers should expect a deliberately rough, fast-moving game where learning to survive the traffic is as important as winning the race.

Setup Guide & Troubleshooting

How do I fix missing DLL errors for Road Redemption (Incl. ALL DLC’s)?

After extracting Road Redemption (Incl. ALL DLC’s), navigate to the _Redist or _CommonRedist folder inside the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and any other dependencies included.

What should I do if the downloaded file is corrupted?

The full archive is 3.07 GB — make sure your download completed fully before extracting. Use 7-Zip to extract the files. If you still see a "file corrupted" error, re-download and try again.

Do I need to run the game as administrator?

Usually, no. Start the game normally from the extracted folder. If you see a permissions or save error, check that the folder is writable and follow the game's documented fix. Only grant administrator access when a trusted game's specific setup requires it.

How do I update my GPU drivers for this game?

Road Redemption (Incl. ALL DLC’s) requires a DirectX 9-compatible graphics card with at least 1.5GB of video memory or equivalent. Update your NVIDIA or AMD drivers to the latest version for the best performance.

The game won't launch — what should I try?

Check that extraction completed and your PC meets the system requirements, including Version 9.0. Note any error message before choosing a fix. If it identifies a missing runtime, install the required DirectX components or Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft.

My antivirus is blocking the game — is it safe?

A warning needs to be investigated; the download source alone cannot confirm that a file is safe. Keep your security software enabled and review the detection details. Do not run or restore a flagged file unless you have verified that it is a false positive. If you are unsure, leave it quarantined.
