Co-op for up to eight players is central to the design, as groups can naturally split into builders, farmers, crafters, dungeon delvers, and frontline defenders instead of having everyone repeat the same chores. Biome-based progression gives exploration a clear payoff, while customizable settlements across the map make expansion feel more substantial than a single static base. Romestead stands out most through its combination of tactile resource handling, Roman mythology, automation, and night-time survival pressure.
