The mood is loud, bloody, and gleefully absurd, with old-school pixel art and a pounding soundtrack matching the constant rush.

Each descent sends you through a newly assembled sequence of rooms, where you slash enemies with your sword, use ranged tools, unleash ninja magic, and scramble for time-extending pickups. Combat is immediate and simple to understand, but surviving requires sharp movement, quick target prioritization, and knowing when to push through danger instead of stopping to fight everything. Weapons and upgrades dramatically alter a run, ranging from conventional ninja gear to ridiculous options such as flamethrowers and baseball bats, while dozens of enemy types and eight major bosses keep the tower dangerous. Failure comes quickly, but randomized layouts, unlockable equipment, achievements, controller support, and online leaderboards give every restart a reason to matter.
