Trash Sailors

A flooded wasteland turns discarded junk into the only currency that matters, and survival depends on keeping a barely functional raft afloat. Trash Sailors is a chaotic hand-drawn co-op adventure where up to four players sail through seas packed with debris, hazards, monsters, and hostile scavengers. Its grimy premise is played for slapstick comedy: crews scramble over a patchwork vessel while toxic waters, crocodiles, sharks, and pirates threaten to turn every journey into a disaster. The mood lands somewhere between a cartoon survival game and a loud couch-party argument with friends.

Players collect floating rubbish and convert it into the essentials needed to continue sailing, including fuel, replacement raft panels, and improvised weapons. Keeping the craft moving means steering, repairing damaged sections, managing resources, and reacting quickly when waves or enemies knock pieces loose; losing too much of the raft leaves the crew dangerously exposed. Voyages move through varied regions, from murky swamps to icy waters, with treasure to chase and creatures to fight or avoid. Online and local co-op support makes teamwork central, though the frantic pace also creates plenty of opportunities to accidentally sabotage friends while trying to save the boat.

The rough ink-and-paper presentation gives every character, monster, and heap of garbage an intentionally scruffy personality, fitting a world where trash is both building material and treasure. Rather than offering deep naval simulation, the game focuses on immediate, accessible mayhem and the satisfaction of holding a collapsing vessel together at the last second. Runs remain lively because each crew has to divide tasks on the fly, whether that means one player scavenges while another repairs and someone else fends off attackers.
