Witch and Council: The Card (v1.1.1)

A stripped-down witch faces a hostile school hierarchy in a fantasy deckbuilding RPG built around revenge, risk, and carefully chosen allies. Lulu begins her climb with most of her magic gone, after Student Council President Sibylla takes an heirloom that anchors her power. The story has a playful anime-fantasy premise, but its battles demand serious planning as Lulu pushes through monsters and increasingly formidable council officers on her way to the top.

Each run revolves around building a functional party and shaping a deck that supports it, rather than relying on one fixed hero build. Battles reward smart card sequencing, while victories bring new skill cards and opportunities to improve the ones already in circulation; merchants also offer relics and scrolls that can radically alter a run’s direction. Five playable characters provide different approaches to party composition, and even defeated Student Council officers can become recruits for later fights. Story Mode supplies the central climb toward Sibylla, while Witch’s Tower Mode offers a more score-driven challenge for players who want to test builds repeatedly.

Witch and Council: The Card stands out through the overlap between roguelike card drafting and character-party management: the question is not only which cards are powerful, but which combinations best fit the companions currently available. With more than 140 cards, 49 monsters, 30 relics, and 25 scrolls, runs have enough moving parts to encourage experimentation instead of repeating a single proven route. Global score leaderboards add a competitive reason to revisit the tower after the story’s main conflict is settled. Players who enjoy Slay the Spire-style deck construction but want a lighter fantasy setting, recruitable characters, and a more defined protagonist should find plenty to work with, while newcomers can learn its systems through incremental runs and veteran card-game fans can chase stronger synergies.
