Game Overview

A shattered Trans-Siberian train leaves a handful of strangers stranded in Siberia just after the October Revolution, where bitter cold is only the first threat. Help Will Come Tomorrow is a narrative survival-management game built around scarcity, suspicion, and the uneasy cooperation of people divided by class and ideology. Its bleak, hand-drawn presentation gives the wilderness a storybook look, but the mood stays tense as hunger, exhaustion, illness, and personal grudges push every survivor toward breaking point.

Each day revolves around assigning survivors to vital work: gathering wood and food, crafting tools, tending the camp, resting, or venturing into dangerous territory for supplies. Resources are limited, weather conditions punish bad planning, and a weak or injured worker can turn a manageable situation into a crisis. The cast has different skills, traits, beliefs, and relationships, so the best practical choice is not always the one your group accepts. Dialogue decisions shape trust between survivors, unlock or close off possibilities, and force you to weigh immediate survival against the human cost of your actions.

Rather than focusing on combat or heroic adventure, the game makes its drama out of camp routines and difficult social compromises. The revolution-era setting gives its interpersonal conflicts more weight than in many wilderness survival games, as aristocrats, workers, soldiers, and other passengers bring old assumptions into a situation where nobody survives alone. Randomized elements, changing character combinations, and branching decisions add replay value, though the deliberately measured pace suits players who enjoy management games with heavy narrative pressure. Fans of Frostpunk’s moral dilemmas and The Banner Saga’s character-driven consequences find plenty to appreciate, while newcomers should be ready for a demanding survival experience where patience and empathy matter as much as efficient resource management.
