Arukea blends nostalgic pixel-art role-playing with a strange, self-aware fantasy world where reality does not always behave as it should. You play the Wanderer, crossing deserts, jungles, floating lands, ancient tech ruins, and even an undersea laboratory while chasing a story built around magick, mystery, and a growing sense that the world’s glitches mean something. Its 2.5D presentation recalls the colorful RPGs of the 8- and 16-bit eras, but the tone is not stuck in the past: humor, dense lore, and oddball characters give the adventure a more contemporary personality. Infinite Mana feels designed for players who enjoy poking into every side path as much as following the main plot.

Travel revolves around exploration, conversations, dungeon puzzles, quests, and gathering materials for crafting. The central hook is the glitch system, which turns apparent errors in the world into potential tools the Wanderer can learn to exploit, encouraging experimentation instead of treating every irregularity as scenery. Character growth uses Guises, a class-based customization system that lets players shape the Wanderer around their preferred approach rather than locking them into one role. Its strongest idea is the marriage of classic RPG comfort food with a world that deliberately feels unstable beneath its bright surface.
