Quasimorph is a hard-edged turn-based roguelike RPG built around extraction: loot means nothing unless your mercenaries escape alive with it. The setting combines industrial sci-fi with grotesque body horror as a mysterious fever, dimensional rifts, and demonic intrusions turn routine contracts into desperate survival missions. Its mood is relentlessly hostile, favoring careful planning and grim adaptability over heroic power fantasies.

Players run a private military company, accept jobs from competing corporations, and dispatch clone soldiers into procedurally assembled facilities across the system. Missions revolve around scavenging supplies, completing objectives, managing faction relationships, and reaching extraction before injuries, starvation, infection, enemy patrols, or worse bring an operation down. Combat is methodical and lethal, with positioning, ammunition, weapons, armor, medical supplies, and character abilities all demanding attention; a careless push through a doorway can cost an entire loadout. Successful runs feed back into the wider campaign through captured gear, unlocked technologies, improved recruits, and a growing stable of cloned operatives, while death strips a soldier of everything they carried.

What separates Quasimorph from a standard dungeon crawler is how strongly it commits to the consequences of extraction gameplay. Every excursion carries the tense “one more room” pressure familiar to Tarkov, but its grid-based pace and systems-heavy survival design evoke classic roguelikes such as Jupiter Hell and traditional Fallout. The cloning premise also gives its attrition-heavy structure a cold corporate logic: operatives are replaceable assets, even when the player has grown attached to their hard-won skills and equipment.
