Runs send you through randomly assembled dungeons, where you collect cards, confront bizarre enemies, and gradually assemble a deck suited to your preferred tactics. A click lets you redraw objects ranging from foes and scenery to furniture and spell cards, potentially changing their role in future encounters and world generation. Progress does not demand slaughter, either: allowing an opponent to flee still provides the same rewards, making pacifist-minded play a legitimate strategic option instead of a self-imposed handicap.
